Spring Marketing Ideas

Share this blog post:

Spring is in the air! The birds are chirping, flowers are blooming and the sun is shining – some days at least! With the change in seasons comes an opportunity to refresh and revamp your marketing!

After a long winter, now is the perfect time for reaching people with enthusiasm and new energy! It’s time to do some “spring cleaning” and ensure that your marketing plan is well organized and updated with some new ideas! We’ve compiled a list of some ways to get your spring marketing started:

In-House Clean Up

Spring is a great time to take inventory and get rid of all the products or services you offer that haven’t been as profitable or well-promoted as you would like.

Now is the time to offer promotions or giveaways to move less popular items, or even to bring new awareness and attention to services that have slowed in popularity. A great way to do this is to host spring or easter giveaway contests using your social media

Consider creating a discounted easter basket featuring a bundle of products or combined services. Featuring an image of an Easter basket with products inside on your website is a great way to add some seasonal flair and vibrancy while also showcasing products.

The same notion of cleaning and organizing goes for your marketing strategy. Assess what marketing is working and what could be improved. Consult with the marketing experts at Beeman for help utilizing your marketing to sell more hearing aids and attract new customers!

Capitalize On Seasonal Based Services

Tax refund season is from March through April with Easter falling in between. Marketing tax incentives and sales around this time can see great results! Last year 10% of consumers used their tax returns to make a major purchase and 29% used returns for what they considered an everyday purchase.1

Along with tax season, consider how the change in seasons can directly affect your hearing aid sales. Are more people venturing out of the house as the weather gets nicer? Do you have in-store signage and materials ready for an increase in foot traffic?

Likewise, with roughly 80% of U.S. adults planning to celebrate Easter, it’s not a holiday to overlook!2 Easter is a big time for family gatherings where signs of hearing loss may become more noticeable. Consider offering a referral discount and focusing on educating your current patients on identifying key signs of hearing loss in others.

You can also consider how warmer weather impacts hearing aids. Do your customers have different needs at different times of the year? Now is a great time to write a blog post about how heat affects hearing aids, or create videos to answer questions like “can you wear hearing aids in the sun.”

In fact, 82% of consumers said they feel more positive about a brand after reading customized content, and now is the perfect opportunity to get started creating if you haven’t already!3

Run Themed Marketing Campaigns

Themes to focus on include renewal and revitalization, warm weather, spending time outdoors, spring cleaning, gardening, and home renovation projects. Match your marketing to these themes! Consider a promotion focused on renewed hearing health, building a customized hearing plan, all the new sounds that can be heard outdoors in spring, or offering a discount on hearing aid cleanings.

Earth Day, Easter, and Spring are all also great themes. Your messaging and content should match the season with vibrant, cheerful colors and fresh graphics. Customize your emails and newsletters with bright, eye-catching designs.

Spring is a great time to take inventory and get rid of all the products or services you offer that haven’t been as profitable or well-promoted as you would like.
